Monday when we went to play.....QUIDDITCH!!!

Hello Everybody! What a week it has been!

Well first off I must follow up on last Monday when we went to play.....QUIDDITCH!!! It was bomb. We got there and we did the "Sorting Hat" into which teams we were on- I was team Gryffindor ðŸ˜Ž
Then we got our brooms and ran all around! It was like dodgeball and soccer mixed! It got pretty crazy though.... two of the Sisters were "Seekers" and were looking for the "Snitch" aka a penny and when one of them found it the other one tackled her and well long story short one has a spranged wrist and the other team one the game.. boo. lol But afterwards we went inside and drank Butterbeer and played normal sports! Great day.
That night we had a lesson with Robert and D'ona which went really well and the members that went with us helped soooooooo much!!! The kids loved church so on Tuesday these members picked them up and took them to Young Womens and Scouts! They loved that too!!!! Woohoo!!!

Tuesday was a normal day for the most part. We went down to Arvada and gave a training in a District Meeting about having confidence in our approaches. We prefaced it with one of us apologetically/shyly offering someone a strange drink and of course they declined. Then the other one offered it in a way that was exciting and happy and raved about the drink! People finally took some and drank and of course it was good. Confidence in how we approach people about the Gospel is so important! If we cant "rave" about how the Gospel blesses us, then people will never know what it means to you and how it helps, and therefore will never know what it could mean to/help them either. BE "BOULDER" PEOPLE!

Wednesday was a normal day. We decided to take all the Sisters that we cover out to lunch to help foster our relationship and see how theyre doing, so we went to FroYo, Kneaders, and Pizza Hut. Talked about stuffed and broke. We had a lesson with Robert and D'ona that night and their little 4 year old told us we needed to bring her a coloring book WITH colors (shes kinda demanding... in the cutest way!) so we went to the library and found the cutest coloring book about the Book of Mormon. We printed it, but crayons and ribbon and made her a book. It was pretty cute i must say- pictures to come. She loved it by the way, and the lesson went well also!

Thursday we had District Meeting and then a normal day- it was a beautiful day at that!
Friday was another beautiful day so we decided to Weekly Plan outside. Weekly planning takes a few hours but it was fairly cool out so i didnt think much of it. WRONGO. Ya Sista got like the worst sunburn of life. Ok it wasnt that bad but yea it was pretty red considering my legs havent seen the sun since September. No worries though, i have aloe lotion and my missionary tan is coming along nicely ðŸ˜Ž

Saturday we went on exchanges with some Sisters and it was pretty fun! We taught a lot and saw the most beautiful sunset! (pics to come)

Sunday was great! We went to church and our investigator Fred was there! In Gospel Principles class we talked about the Scriptures, and he piped up and said how he'd been reading a lot this week and really thought Nephi was talking to him and asked if he could actually talk to us! The teacher answered and it was so cool to see the Light in his eyes and how excited he was about all this!!! Fred is just amazing. So is the Gospel.

Well that's about it for this week! This upcoming week is my last full week of the transfer aka my last week with Sister Nelson.  Ill probably stay but will most likely get a new companion- stay tuned to find out who it is!!!

Love you guys so much! I hope you guys took the invitation last week to live obediently and see the Spirit's influence in your life! Its the best feeling we can have, especially when its with you all the time! Dont forget the basics, Read the Scriptures EVERYDAY, Pray MORE THAN ONCE a day, go to church  EVERY SUNDAY! These things can provide us with the spiritual protection and comfort we need to battle against Satan and temptations!

Have a great week everybody!! Keep the Faith and God Bless.

Love Always,
Sister Loyd
