Happy Father's Day Everyone!!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY EVERYONE!!!!  I hope every Dad out there had a wonderful day and was showered with love on this special day!! If not, im sending some your way via this email 💗💗

Love you guys!!!

So this week was pretty great! We started off shopping at the mall for Pday- ohhhhh I love the mall.  We went to Bath and Body Works and got "summer scents", aka coconut smelling lotion. Best. Decision. Ever.  I've smelt so good all week and it makes me feel a little closer to home every time I smell it! It really is the tender mercies that get us through stuff. lol

Anyway, Monday night there was a memorial in the park for the  victims in Orlando.  One of the members let us know so we thought we would go and give our love and talk to some people.  We got there and everyone around us was standing with a candle in their hands.  It was raining and a bunch of camera crews were there too.  We walked up right when a choir was singing a beauuutiful hymn.  Afterwards, the praised God and said a prayer to Him.  We left shortly after this, as it was late, but my heart was full.  Even though such a horrible thing had happened, the community was still willing to come together and thank God and turn to Him! It brought immense peace to my soul.

The rest of the week was great! Comic Con was downtown so we definitely got to see some interesting characters pass us.  Not only that, but the gay pride festival was this weekend downtown.  Now people's outfits for that might've been even better than those for Comic Con. I just love people watching :) lol anyway I decided to fast two different times this week for things I felt I or others needed.  Almost immediately, I started seeing the blessings. It is just a true testament that fasting works!! Praying helps and Heavenly Father wants to help us and bless us, but maybe He's waiting for us to ask.   Along with that, people to teach is always something we ask for, and boy did we get it! We have a lot of appointments with people this week who want to learn more about the Gospel! One of these persons is a man who lives across the hall from a member and she just shared her testimony.  We gave him a pamphlet and invited him to a church picnic and he came!! He met a lot of the members and really enjoyed himself! We're going to teach him this Friday :)
Miracles are happening, as they always do, but I'm so grateful for all the prayers and love and support you all send me! I love you all so much!!!! THANK YOU!!

Have a good week everyone!!! Let's not just appreciate our father's on one day, but every day of the year! And if you don't have a father in your life, you always have your Heavenly Father! He loves you. He's sad when you're sad and rejoices when you rejoice! He is the ultimate Father! But i still love my daddy :)

Love you guys!!!!!!
Until next week,
Sister Loyd
