While I'll miss everyone in the Woodglen Ward terribly...

Well guys I have news...I will no longer be serving in Commerce City.... I'm going to to...DOWNTOWN DENVER!! Woop woop!!!!!

While some dread going downtown, I've wanted to go ever since I got here! It is so beautiful and full of people and lots to do/see! While I'll miss everyone in the Woodglen Ward terribly, I'm excited for the opportunity to meet new people and have new experiences.  My new companion's name is Sister Borup. She's from Denmark and is reaaally funny! But more to report on that next week..

A beautiful evening outside our apartment!
This week was good! Now that the people we've been working with are baptized, we've been doing a lot of finding.  We came across an older woman named Anita who's in her 80's and just wants to know what happens to everyone after we die.  We taught her the plan of Salvation and she loves it! She says it brings her a lot of comfort and peace and she thinks about it a lot aka the spirit is working on her :)  We also met a sweet young family last night that is interested in having us back over sometime.  Since I'm not staying in this area I'll have to keep tabs with Sister Hudson on what happens with all of them!

Yesterday was a special day as well! Doug was able to give his father, Scotty, the Aaronic Priesthood!! Oh what a beautiful thing it is too see loved ones growing in the gospel and making commitments with the Lord.  We plan on sitting down with them tonight and setting a date sometime next year for them to be sealed in the temple! 💗

Well yes, this week went from 80 degrees to 30 and snow storms in the matter of a few hours.  I thought Florida was bad... No but it's still been really nice! Luckily the snow is done and its warm enough that its not sticking and all just melting away! I do like the snow still, just not the ice after the fact. And I have yet to build a snowman... maybe next year!

Anyway, it's been a wonderful week and I love/miss everyone!! Know that your love, prayers, and support is so appreciated!!  Always remember your purpose here on earth and what out true priorities are(or should be).  " For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors." Alma 34:32

Love you guys!!!! Until next week,

XOXO
Sister Loyd
