I can't believe its already been a week! It seems like I just got here but it also seems like I've been out for a long time. So much has happened in just one week there's no way I'll be able to get it all in one post (sorry).
Anyways, on to the people! My companion (Sister Callens) is adorable - I like to think of her as my very own princess Mia before her makeover. She's very quiet and introverted, but we work super well together! She's a scripture and analogy wiz and I'm a talker, so that tends to work out really well in our lessons. The other sisters in my district (sister Henrie and sister Lupton) are so much fun and and we laugh ALL the time! I enjoy living with them so much!
My district consists of 6 elders and 4 sisters (including me and my comp). The first day was quiet, but once we were all comfortable with each other, we bonded SUPER fast!! They are sooooo hilarious! Each one of them offers a different personality trait that makes them so much fun to be around. I look forward to class time just so I can be with them :)
My teachers are also amazing!! They really know how to invite the spirit and teach with that - which always leaves a lasting impression.
There's been so much that I've done and learned while I've been here. My testimony is stronger than ever and I have so much faith and trust in Heavenly Father and the spirit.
I leave the MTC and fly out to Denver next Wednesday...January 20th at 8:30am (10:30am EST).
